We understand that inadvertently missing appointments can happen; however, we must consider how these missed appointments impact other patients and our ability to efficiently assist other clients with their animals.
To be fair to all our patients, the following policy is in place:
- Colorado Equine Veterinary Services requires a minimum of one business day prior notice for appointments that need to be canceled or rescheduled. You can cancel/reschedule by calling us at (719) 749-9500 or by sending an email to colovets@gmail.com.
- We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. Please call to advise us if you are running late so we can determine if there is enough time to see your pet or if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.
- Due to the amount of time set aside for prepurchase examinations, cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $200.00 fee.
- Other appointments canceled without 24 hours notice will incur a $100.00 fee.
- Clients who continually cancel appointments (even beyond 24 hours prior to the appointment), will be charged the cancellation fee as well, depending on the circumstances. Subsequent missed appointments will result in a deposit fee that must be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.
